Some images of the LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (40289) surfaced last night and thanks to our friends over at Brickset, we have clearer photos of the front and back box art.
It originated in an LEGO Certified Store in Slovania where the set was actually discovered on the shelves retailing at 40€ – 50€.
As we have determined earlier that this is a micro-scale build which is the same scale as LEGO Hogwarts Castle. The set also comes with a Gerrick Ollivander minfigure.
Now that we have a clearer look at the buildings featured along the alley, I can confirm what we figured out earlier that the buildings were Gringotts Wizard Bank, Ollivanders, Weasley’s Magic Woes, Flourish & Blotts, and Quality Quiddich Supplies.
No word yet on when this will hit the shelves on our shores but it should be soon as the LEGO Hogwarts Castle (71043) launches to the public on September 1st.
It is also interesting to note that the set number is 40289 which is different from the other LEGO Harry Potter sets that have been released. The 40XXX prefix is usually used for LEGO Extended Line products.
