LEGO Unikitty Show Coming To Cartoon Network

There was some leak about an animated series based on the Unikitty character from The LEGO Movie a couple of weeks back and now they have officially announced that it will be on the broadcast line up on the Cartoon Network.

Unikitty was one of the major highlights of The LEGO Movie (besides LEGO Batman), and it is about time that she gets her own animated series.

It will follow her adventures around her realm of Cloud Cuukoo Land with her little brother and best friend, Puppycorn; her bodyguard, Hawkodile; and zany scientist Dr. Fox.

The character of Unikitty will be voiced by the indomitable Tara Strong from Teen Titans Go!; Powerpuff Girls, taking over from Alison Brie who voiced the role in The LEGO Movie.

There is still no word of any upcoming LEGO sets based on the series but you can bet your last dollar that there will be a tie-up of some kind.

The series is green lit at the Cartoon Network but there isn’t a schedule release date yet.
