LEGO London Bus Promotion Details (Malaysia)

The LEGO Mini-London Bus (40220) was a gift-with-purchase promotion last year in the United States for the month of August and it was sold over the counter when the LEGO Brand Store in Leicester Square opened.

It seems that LEGO Certified Stores in Malaysia will be launching their own gift-with-purchase promotion for the LEGO Mini-London Bus on the 1st of April (no, it is not an April fool’s joke).

You will need to spend RM500 (SGD$158 / USD$113) on any LEGO playset or play materials. This is a little bit more expensive than last year’s GWP in the United States as all you had to do was spend USD$75 to get one.

Not to mention that you can still purchase the set from the LEGO Brand Store at Leicester Square for £9.90.

Either way, it is still a good sign that these promotions are making their way here to South East Asia. No word yet on when this be launched in Singapore but we will update once we get more information.

This would be the third GWP that our Malaysian neighbours are getting that has yet to be implemented on our shores. The first two would be the Battle Pod (in a still yet unannounced Toys ‘R’ Us promo) and the Mini-Volkswagen Beetle.
