LEGO Boutique Hotel 10297 Gift With Purchase Discovered!

Amidst all the fanfare of the LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone (21331) announcement last night, a LEGO employee in Shanghai revealed that there would be a gift with purchase when you buy the LEGO Boutique Hotel (10297) come next year.

The gift with purchase is not actual LEGO but a replica of a key card that one would typically receive when checking into a hotel in this day and age (I still remember when the front desk used to hand over actual keys to access your rooms).

The key card is serialised so there should be a limited number in circulation but apart from the novelty, I’m not sure what else it does. The front has LEGO Senior Product Designer Anderson Grubb signature on it which is a nice touch.

The packaging is quite stylish with the box lid emblazoned with the “modular buildings collection” logo on the front. I don’t expect the box to be very big as it looks like it is just slightly bigger to hold the key card.

This promotion seems to be localised to China for the moment and we cannot confirm the availability in other market regions but I will update once I have more information.
