LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327) Rumoured For Summer!
With all the hype and chatter surrounding the upcoming mainline sets for the summer, there was little to no information with regards to the LEGO Ideas theme.
But now, there is talk that the LEGO Ideas Typewriter (21327), which was selected for production in mid 2020, will see a launch date this summer!
The fan project was designed by Steve Guinness which actually has a working keytop and typebars.

The model is also rumoured to be decked out in Sand Green which was probably done to match the colour of the actual Erika-10 typerwriter that sat on Ole Kirk’s desk back in the 30’s.

It will also consist of over 2000 pcs and has an estimated retail price of USD$200 which is a bit on the high side so I suspect that it won’t just be a static model.
This would be the first from the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review winners announcement. The other two were the LEGO Seinfield by Brent Waller and Home Alone: McCallister’s House by Alex Storozhuk.
