There has been a slew of rumours floating about the interwebs recently but I’m actually able to confirm that the LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) set will be coming out later next month!
The Japan LEGO Shop@Home accidentally leaked the product listing for the highly anticipated set and it will clock in at 5,544 pieces and will retail for USD$/€399.99.
Most of the stores that we’ve come to know and love will be making an appearance like Ollivanders Wand shop; Flourish & Blotts bookseller; Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes; Scribbulus™ Writing Implements, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour and the Daily Prophet.
This is technically a “re-release” as the previous set had only three buildings so this is definitely a step up from the one released in 2011.
There is a rumoured list of minifigures that will make an appearance and I’m still in the process of confirming them. There should be an official announcement shortly so watch out for that!
