LEGO BrickHeadz Monkey King (40381) Official Images!

The LEGO online webstore, Shop@Home, has just updated their listings with the first official product images to the LEGO BrickHeadz Monkey King (40381) set!

It consists of 175 pieces and sports the new 1×1 rounded eye tiles in pearl gold. Judging from the box art, there already seem to be a few of the “gold lacquered” pieces like the shoulder pads and the ends of the staff.

It will retail for SGD19.90 / USD9.99 / €9.74 and will be available in all LEGO Brand and Certified Stores on the 1st of August.

It was only a matter of time before they pushed out a LEGO BrickHeadz version of the Monkey King. I’m just waiting for more characters from the LEGO Monkie Kid to get the BrickHeadz treatment.
