LEGO Crocodile Locomotive (10277) Officially Revealed!
The LEGO Crocodile Locomotive (10277) marks the first time LEGO is releasing a dedicated train set since the LEGO Horizon Express (10233) in 2013.
This features a Crocodile electric locomotive that was used in countries like Austria, Germany and France as well as India.
The set consists of 1271 pieces and comes with two train operator/engineer minifigures.
As you can see from the packaging, it is geared towards the AFOL market with the black box packaging and the newly introduced 18+ rating.
The train also comes with power up functionality with a companion app which you can control from the comfort of your mobile phone.
It is slated to launch on the 1st of July with a recommended retail price of SGD$179.90 – €99.99 (EUR) – 899DKK – USD99.99.
This should be a pretty welcome return after seven years for the LEGO Train fans and hopefully LEGO will continue with the sub-theme like the Santa Fe series back in 2002.

This train only ran on swiss railways. While the other countries you mention may have had segmented crocodile locomotives, they did not run the ce6/8
