LEGO DC Super Heroes Collectible Minifigure (71026) Feel Guide
The LEGO DC Super Heroes Collectible Minifigure Series (71026) has already started selling at some Canadian Toys ‘R’ Us outlets so I thought I’ll punch out this little feel guide to help those looking for that specific character.
There are quite a bit of unique parts here so it doesn’t look like the sixteen different characters will be too difficult to identify.
Superman
The printed Daily Planet 2×2 tile is unique to Superman in this series. Feel for that and you shouldn’t go wrong. His hair piece should have small ridges. Be careful when you feel for him as not to damage the cape.
Batman (Detective Comics #1)
The cowl has extra long pointy ears so look out for that. The black climbing rope/vine should feel like tiny rods connected with rope in-between. The Batarang is also unique to this character and should feel solid with pointed ends on either side.
Aquaman
His torso is only one in this series with one hand. Feel for the hands and if one of them is pointy, it should be Aquaman. He also has a fish accessory which you can feel for its tail fin.
The Flash
His helmet is a new element and feels like a saucer with two protrusions near the dome. He also has two lightning bolts which has jagged edges. The minifigure comes with the Neck Bracket with 2 Back Studs to hold said lightning bolts.
Green Lantern
He has the new ‘lantern’ element which should feel like a circular ring with a cylinder-like object at one end. He also comes with a 1×1 round tile along with a transparent stud holder.
Cyborg
His hairpiece should feel smooth on one half and bumpy the next. He comes with a chain link but be careful, Miracle Man has one too.
Wonder Woman
The lasso should feel like a thin loop connected to a stick at one end. Her skirt is the unique item in this series so feel for that if you want to confirm that it’s her.
Stargirl
Her unique item would be the 4L rod and the pointy bit of the cosmic staff. Her hair piece is hard and wavy so you can feel for that to confirm.
Huntress
The crossbow is unique to her. It should feel like a triangular frame with a solid rod sticking out of the apex. Her hairpiece is also hard and wavy (which is practically every other female hairpiece in this series).
Metamorpho
He has a fist accessory that should feel like a really large block in the packet. Metamorpho does not have a hairpiece / headgear so that should confirm that it is him.
Joker
His candy floss is actually the honeycomb element so it should feel round with big ridges along the side. He is also the only one who has a 1×2 tile. The candy floss also comes with a stick and the top is actually a pink minifigure head.
Bat-Mite
He is the only one in this series with short legs. The 2×3 tile is a dead giveaway and the cowl with the lopsided ear should confirm its him.
Mr. Miracle
He has the same chain link as Cyborg so be careful. He also comes with a pair of handcuffs as well which should differentiate him from Cyborg.
Cheetah
Her headpiece should be smooth and round with two ears protruding. The sack has an odd shape but you can feel for the handle. The tail is rubbery which should confirm her identity.
Bumblebee
She also has lightning bolts but they are different from The Flash’s as these have handles on one end. Her bee wings are unique to this set so feel for those. Her hairpiece also two buns on either side of it.
Sinestro
His lantern is just like Green Lanterns as it should feel like a circular ring with a cylinder like object to one end. The only thing that sets Sinestro apart from Green Lantern is his hairpiece. It should feel flat with shallow ridges.
Do try not to press the packets too hard as I’ve seen some packets ripped because of mishandling.
