When I first saw the initial box images I had to do a double take to make sure that it was all LEGO.

The LEGO Creator Expert team is knocking it out of the park with first the Lunar Lander and now with the LEGO Creator Expert Harley-Davidson Fat Boy (10269).

The set features a truly authentic LEGO recreation of the classic motorbike from Harley-Davidson complete with the teardrop fuel tank, Lakester wheels and even a Milwaukee-Eight® engine with moving pistons.

This almost feels like a LEGO Technic model than something from the LEGO Creator Expert theme.

LEGO’s Fat Boy consists of 1023pcs and will have a recommended retail price (RRP) SGD$159.90 / US $99.99 / CA $139.99 / DE €89.99 / UK £84.99 / FR €94.99 / DK 799DKK / AUS $159.99 which is a pretty decent amount for a set like this.

It will be available for all LEGO VIP customers at LEGO Brand Stores around the world on July 17th and to the public at all LEGO Certified Stores on August 1st.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of motorbikes but this really looks quite impressive as a display model. Coupled with the very attractive price point, this should definitely be a hit with the collectors.
