LEGO DC Superheroes Shazam! (30623) Discovered!

I’ve always wondered why there wasn’t a LEGO tie-in with the new Shazam! movie of some sort as our only offering was the upcoming LEGO Batman Batwing and The Riddler Heist (76120) where the titular character appears as one the minifigures.

A couple of sellers on Bricklink has just listed the LEGO DC Superheroes Shazam! (30623) minifigure polybag and from the looks of it, it would probably have been for a gift with purchase promotion of some kind.

It features the same torso as the one featured in the Batwing and The Riddler Heist set but we get a hairpiece instead of the white hood.

No word on how to obtain this other than the listing on Bricklink but I’m sure this will pop up eventually once the LEGO Batman 80th Anniversary sets rolls around.
