There were a few reports on a brand new LEGO Pop-Up store that just opened in the transit are of Changi Airport Terminal 3 and thanks to the Brick Pilot, we have the first images of this rather unique LEGO ‘kiosk’.
It is managed by LEGO Certified Store operator Bricksworld and is situated in the transit area of Changi Airport Terminal 3 so you would need a valid boarding pass and passport to gain access to the place.
Most of the stock variety is the same as any other LEGO Certified Store in Singapore with all of the recent D2C available for purchase.
The Brickworld Member discount does not apply here but as this is within the Duty Free zone of Changi Airport, the prices are without the goods and service tax (GST) which is a small consolation.
There is a brick mural on one side of the wall which travellers are encouraged to “leave their mark” by building their own creations.
While there is no real incentive (yet) to make a purchase from this store, it is still nice to poke around a LEGO store just before one flies off like the Billund Airport LEGO Store.
I also heard that there might be a ultra exclusive gift with purchase coming up for this store although details are sketchy at the moment so watch this space!
