The LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Boston was hosting a very special signing session for the LEGO Ideas Women of NASA (21312) set designed by science writer and Lego enthusiast, Maia Weinstock.
With her was Margaret Hamilton, computer science and systems software engineer for the Apollo missions and Nancy Grace Roman, American astronomer and pioneer of the Hubble telescope, both who were part of the inspiration for the Maia’s LEGO Ideas project.
There was a special pre-launch held last month at the Flatiron building LEGO Brand Store in New York City where Maia was also on hand for an exclusive meet and greet.
Nancy Grace Roman was also at the University of Massachusetts Boston for a talk and also spent some time signing after for a quick signing.

This is a great way to connect both the younger generation of LEGO Fans as well as fans of space and exploration. The inclusion of Margaret and Nancy is a real treat. If only I was in Boston at the time.
