Brickfinder Goes To The LEGO Ninjago Movie Challenge

The LEGO Ninjago Movie will premiere in less than two weeks and LEGO Singapore has gone all out to celebrate the movie with the launch of their LEGO Ninjago Movie Challege event!

The event is free for kids and they get to enjoy a host of building activities and get to bring home their creations as well.

There are four stations to complete and it starts off with a quick LEGO Ninjago Movie trailer recap.

You are then required to build a “ninja mask” out of LEGO which is essentially an upsized version of the gift-with-purchase when you spend a minimum of SGD$40 on any LEGO products.

The kids were ushered into a huge snow-globe tent with a backdrop for some photo opportunity which had a couple of Ninjago masks and cardboard weapons.

The last station was the coolest because we (the kids) got to build a ‘mech’ with the bricks provided and get to take it home afterwards.

Coupled with this event was the launch of the LEGO Ninjago Movie: Ninjago City (70620) which is the largest set for the theme clocking in at over 4000 pieces.

There are sales items which offer a pretty good discount on sets and if you spend a minimum of SGD$120, you are able to redeem the LEGO Ninjago Master’s training ground (30425) polybag.

But what is even cooler is that you can redeem a LEGO Ninjago Movie Master Wu keychain if you just play a quick game on Facebook.

You play a Facebook video where you need to pause it at the right time to match Lloyd’s character with his weapon. Show the screen shot to the person manning the counter and you will receive one free Sensei Wu keychain!

You would also need to show that you own something ‘green’ but you could easily pop into the Starbucks next door and grab one of their straws. There are fifty given out every day so get there early!

Th LEGO Ninjago Movie event is on till the 10th of September and there are limited activity slots for the kids per day.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie opens on the 28th of September in theatres everywhere.
