LEGO Ideas Not Accepting Submissions Based on Third-party Licenses

The LEGO Ideas blog just updated with a new post that details some guidelines on the projects that are published on their voting site.

It has stated that they “will no longer accept new submissions based on third-party licenses that are active in the LEGO Group’s portfolio.”

You can click here or check out the list below on the various licenses that are within LEGO repertoire. For one this will shift the focus of submissions to the LEGO Ideas site to more original MOCs and designs rather than stuff that has already been established.

The Fine Print:

If your project was previously turned down, archived, or deleted due to a licensing conflict that is now resolved or third party license that has been retired, you may re-submit it as a new project. Supporters from past projects cannot be applied to a future project.
