LEGO Toys ‘R’ Us Star Card To Launch In Singapore

November 2nd 2016 will see the re-opening of the Toys ‘R’ Us (TRU) store at VivoCity Shopping mall and also the launch of the LEGO Toys ‘R’ Us Star Card in Singapore.

This exclusive LEGO TRU Star Card is similar to the regular TRU Star Card where you accumulate Star points and redeem them for in-store cash credit. It kind of works like the LEGO VIP Program where you collect points with every LEGO purchase. 

Every dollar spent equates to 1 Star point. Redeem 250 Star Points for a SGD$10 credit which is about a 4% cash back on your TRU purchases.

The card is free to sign up when you spend SGD$80 on LEGO products at the Toys ‘R’ Us VivoCity branch and the offer will roll out to the other branches at a later date. Existing Star Card members can also apply.

You will also get x2 Star Points on your next LEGO purchase after you sign up for the card so plan your LEGO acquisitions wisely.

A Toys ‘R’ Us representative also confirmed that there will be a free exclusive TRU LEGO Gift when you sign up so remember to collect it.

TRU Singapore has not released the information on what the ‘gift’ is but a quick peek at the Toys ‘R’ Us Hong Kong website reveals that Hong Kong will be getting the TRU Exclusive Geoffrey and Friends (40228) set as part of their sign up.

The set sells for about 10€ overseas so this would be a really nice freebie if Singapore does enjoy the same promotion.
