LEGO DC Comics Minifigure Series Coming in 2020?

Here is a little bit of fun for a Friday. There have been rumours floating about a possible LEGO DC Comics Minifigure Series that will be headed our way. Chatter on the grapevine is that it slated for an early 2020 release.

As most of you are familiar with the LEGO minifigure series rollout is that there will usually be three series per year, one being the usual Collectible Minifigure Series (CMF) and two intellectual property tie-ups. 

2019 saw the release of the LEGO Movie 2 Series and the LEGO Disney Minifigure Series 2 and the DC Comics Minifigure series would be a welcome addition as the comics publisher has a tonne of characters to feature.

LEGO has released two LEGO Batman Movie minifigure series which featured a lot of DC Comics characters already so this feels like a natural progression for the series.
