LEGO Houses of the World 1 40583 Official Images!

LEGO’s online shopping blackhole (Shop@Home) has recently updated with a handful of new sets and we now have a proper look at the upcoming LEGO Houses of the World 1 (40583) gift with purchase starting 15th January 2023.

According to the product description, there are going to be three more in the series (40590, 40594 and 40599) so better pad those wallets and plan your purchases for the rest of the year.

Each set features an architectural style from around the world and the inaugural model focuses on the exterior and interior designs of a South American homestead.

I’m actually quite intrigued by this not only for the fact that we’ll be getting more diverse builds but that LEGO decided to gatekeep this theme behind a gift with purchase promotion. I honestly think that these would sell quite well as purchasable sets instead of relying on a redemption mechanic to get them to an audience.

Do check with your local LEGO store on the availability of this promotion as there is no official word on when this will start and for what the minimum spend will be. (It is rumoured to be quite high too).
