It is that time of year when the next entry to the rebranded Fairground Collection is announced and LEGO is finally here to reveal the LEGO Loop Coaster 10303!
This would be our second largest Fairground Collection set as well as the second coaster to join the growing sub-theme.
It features what is essentially a roller coaster that drops you from a very high height and allows gravity to pull you through a couple of loops along the track before it starts again.
The Loop Coaster consists of 3756 pcs which is slightly smaller than the first LEGO Roller Coaster (10261) by about 400pcs but it stands at a height of 92cm so take that into account if you want to display it.
It comes with eleven minifigures along with some brick built attractions like the hotdog stand and the balloon cart.
The recommended retail price for the set is 399.99 EUR/ 599.99 AUD / 344.99 GBP / 399.99 USD / 499.99 CAD.
It will be available at all LEGO Brand and Certified Stores on the 1st of July.
I love that the set comes with their own park map which list the other entries to the Fairground Collection.
Hopefully they were able to stabilise the build for the coaster this time round as the first one had some issues with the track coming loose after a few rounds with the roller coaster cars.
I’m actually quite excited for this one as it looks like a massive build which can be augmented with motor functions to automate the elevator.
