If there is one thing to know about me is that I’m a HUGE fan of Back To The Future so when I was definitely super excited when I got the news back in November 2021 that we would be seeing a large scale model of the iconic car this year.
So I’m beyond ecstatic to be able to reveal the LEGO Back To The Future Time Machine (10300) set for all you LEGO BTTF Fans out there!
The set features the iconic DMC Delorean Time Machine which like it’s LEGO Ideas counterpart, can be modified to the different cars of the Trilogy.
The original 1955 version comes equipped with with the lightning conductor and the 2015 version is able to fold it’s wheel into hover mode.
Whilst the 1885 version has the red hub caps and the hood attachment.
The LEGO Back To The Future Time Machine consists of 1856 pieces and has a length of 35cm which makes it just slightly shorter than the LEGO V1 Camper Van.
It also comes with two exclusive minifigures of Marty McFly in his 2015 self fitting/drying jacket and Doc Brown in his yellow trench and red Hawaiin shirt.
There is also a handful of brick built accessories like the Hoverboard, the case of plutonium, interchangeable license plates, a beer can and a banana.
The set has a small plaque with some specifications for the Time Machine which is attached to a stand for the minifigures.
The recommended retail price for the LEGO Back To The Future Time Machine (10300) is £149.99 / €169.99 / $169.99 / 269.99 AUD / 219.99 CAD and it will have a street date of April 1st.
LEGO has been slowly developing their iconic movie car sub-theme with the LEGO Batmobiles as well as LEGO Ecto-1. Hopefully they expand on this to perhaps include other vehicles like KITT from Knight Rider or even the A-Team.
