Last year LEGO gave the Ducati Panigale V4 R the LEGO Technic treatment and they are adding the BMW M 1000 RR to the list come January of 2022.
The LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR (42130) is a 1:5 scale replica BMW Motorbike which is the first M model from BMW Motorrad.
It consists of 1920 individual elements and when fully built, stands at 27.7cm tall; 45,5 cm long and 17cm wide and 36cm tall if mounted on the display stand.
There seems to be an exclusive wheel piece for this set that is actually 3D printed which is something that LEGO has experimented with in the past.
Here is a quick comparison of the LEGO Technic MW M 1000 RR (42130) set and the actual model itself.
The LEGO Technic BMW M 1000 RR (42130) has a recommended retail price of €199.99 / $229.99 / £174.99 and will be available on January 1st 2022 at all LEGO Brand and Certified Stores.
I have to admit that I’m no gearhead but this seems to be a pretty big deal for bikers so if you do have any insight to the LEGO set or the actual motorbike itself, do drop a comment below!
