LEGO Hogwarts Magical Trunk 76399 Is The Minifigure Pack We Always Needed

The LEGO Instagram page first revealed the LEGO Hogwarts Magical Trunk 76399 earlier in the evening and now LEGO’s Shop@Home has published the official product images giving us a much better look at what looks to be an awesome minifigure pack.

The set features brick built magical trunk that has the elements to modify it to the house of your choice be it either Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.

There are three scenes that you can depict when the trunk is opened which are essentially snapshots from the first movie like the Sorting Ceremony, the welcome feast in The Great Hall and getting acquainted with the house common rooms.

 

But I think the main highlight for me are the minifigures or more accurately, the variety of skin-tones of the minifigure head pieces.

Hogwarts students are from all walks of life and cultures and I’m really glad that this set has a variety of minifigure head pieces to choose from that can represent that spectrum.

From the images we can see that here is the colour flesh, nougat, dark nougat and reddish brown but I think there might be more colours that have yet to be revealed.

There is also a decent selection of hair pieces as well so I think we’re going to be spoiled for choice. This is something that a lot AFOLs have been clamoring for, a way to obtain the minifigure heads with accurate skin tones for their personal minifigures and I think that this fills in that gap perfectly.

The set is slated to launch on March 1st 2022 and will have a recommended retail price of USD/Euro 59.99.
