LEGO Back To The Future Delorean First Details!

There was a rumour earlier this year with regards to an iconic time machine built into a Delorean and now we have some confirmed details of what to expect!

According to reports, we should be getting a larger scale Back To The Future Delorean in April next year. As many of you know, I’m a HUGE Back to the Future fan so I’m definitely will be getting this once it launches.

There will be no minifigures but there will be a selection of brick built accessories that include a Hoverboard. There will be a brick built flux-capcitor and time controls, the gull winged doors will open and close and the wheels can transform to hover mode.

The classic “OUTATIME” licence plate will make an appearance and the model will be able to display both the original nuclear containment unit Back to the Future Delorean and the sleeker Mr. Fusion version from Back to the Future 2.

There are two previous iterations from LEGO of pop culture’s most stylish time machine. The first being the minifigure sized LEGO Ideas Back to the Future (21103) and the much smaller LEGO Dimensions Back to the Future (71201).

I’m actually intrigued as to what they do with this “Ultimate Collector’s Series” version. Perhaps this could be the first set that incorporate light features into the build as an additional mod?
