Disney’s latest animated feature is set to premiere next month and is some chatter on a LEGO Disney Encanto theme that will be released by the end of year.
We know only three sets so far and they will be under the LEGO Disney Princess umbrella so expect mini and micro dolls versions of the characters.
This is another addition to the storybook sub-theme of the LEGO Disney Princess umbrella. The book cover has a green door which opens to Antonio’s room. The set will include a tree with a hammock, a jaguar figure, a frog, butterflies and a new capybara print on a hamster mould. There are two microdolls in this set, one for Antonio and the other, Mirabel.
This book is for Isabela’s room who is the elder sister of Mirabel which includes a four post bed, a make up section and a tea set. The set has butterflies and a white bird animal figures and include microdolls of Mirabel, Isabela and Luisa.
This set features the home of the Madrigals which is a facade build that is open at the back. There are five rooms in all; kitchen, dining room, living room and two bedrooms plus a hallway. There is a palm tree in the garden out front. The set includes two minidolls of Mirabel and Alma (Mirabel’s Grandmother) and a microdoll of Antonio.
I think that there is a lot of potential for these sets if done correctly as the colour palette lends itself well to the LEGO Disney Princess theme.
I would love to see a fully fleshed out MOC based on the Madrigal home as the architecture is unique and so colourful.
