Just a couple of days ago, LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton, teased an upcoming licensed minifigure series that is slated for next year.
Falconfan has shared a rumour that we might just see our beloved Muppets get the LEGO makeover once 2022 rolls around.
The rumour is quite plausible considering that the Muppets IP (Intellectual Property) is now owned by Disney and there was quite a bit of success with the LEGO Ideas Sesame Street (21324).
Granted I’m not sure how well the characters would translate into minifigure form. My guess is that they would go with moulded heads like they did with LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh (21326).
It is rumoured for Spring 2022 and should have the price point of USD$4.99.
This new series should also stick to the 12 minifigure limit. What do you think the character line up will be?
