LEGO has been on a roll with the recently releases of nostalgic movie vehicles from the 1980’s. Just last year alone, they launched the LEGO 1989 Batmobile (76139) and Batwing (76161) and more recently, Ecto-1 from the original Ghostbusters movie.
There is a now rumour rampaging through the interwebs right now about a possible large scale Delorean from the Back to the Future movies coming in September later this year. It should have a price tag of USD$129.99 which means the piece count should be subtantial.
My guess is that it would be able to modded to span all three movies like the LEGO Ideas Back To The Future (21103) that was released almost seven years ago.
It definitely fits into the fabric of LEGO releases lately and not to mention that they still have the IP rights to produce these sets. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a full slate of iconic movie vehicles like KITT from Knight Rider or the GMC Vandura van from the A-Team since they acquired them for LEGO Dimensions.
As always, take this with a bucket of salt as nothing is official till LEGO actually announces it or a warehouse photo of the box art popping up on the internet somewhere.

Great keep them coming. It is great to pay homage to the classics. They truly paved the way for great tv.
Lego should keep the focus on creating icons of the 1980s.
Suggestions:
Karate Kid
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Indiana Jones.
If they haven’t been done, of course.
But stay focused on the 80’s for now.
Thank you 😊
