LEGO Looney Tunes CMF (71030): A Closer Look

The advance sales of the LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures (71030) by a Californian retailer gave some in the fan community a chance to get them a little earlier than usual.

AFOL instagrammer spacetimebrickstudio managed to take some gorgeous shots of the minifigures which gives us a much better look than what we’ve encountered before.

Bugs Bunny

Nothing particularly new except the moulded head for Bugs Bunny. He also comes with a carrot accessory (naturally).

Lola Bunny

Lola Bunny was first introduced in the original Space Jam movie with Michael Jordan.

She also comes with a fully moulded head (actually save for Marvin the Martian, they ALL have moulded heads) and an orange ball to represent a basketball.

Daffy Duck

Daffy comes with a 3L bar that is attached to a road sign with the words “rabbit season” printed on it. I’m kind of wondering if his head mould could be repurposed for a Duckwing Duck minifigure.

Marvin the Martian

He is the only one without a moulded head (it’s a proper minifigure headpiece) which means his helmet could be used on other minifigures.

Marvin also comes with a paper ‘skirt’ as well as a green ray gun.

Speedy Gonzales

Speedy has a fully moulded head with a bandana print on his torso. He also comes with a tail accessory along with four “cheese slopes”.

Roadrunner

The Roadrunner has a new tail accessory along with a sand green bowl and a yellow popcorn / ice cream element to represent the bird seed that Wile E Coyote uses as a lure.

He also has blue winged arms which is a colour variant for the ones used for the Chicken Costume minifigure.

Wile E. Coyote

Wile E. has a brick-built anvil along with a printed torso. He also has a tail accessory which isn’t visible in the image.

Tweety Bird

Tweety bird comes with a brick-built hammer which he uses on Sylvester the cat from time to time.

Along with his moulded head, his torso has a tiny print on the front as well as short legs.

Sylvester the Cat

Sylvester’s torso and leg assembly print are unique and he also has a tail accessory which isn’t visible here. Also included is the bat accessory.

Tasmanian Devil

Along with his fully moulded head, he comes with a pie and chicken leg accessory. Taz comes with a 4×4 modified round tile which has a boat bumper below so he can “spin” on the spot.

Porky Pig

Porky has his trademark phrase emblazoned on a 2×4 tile which is held up by a bracket, a 1×1 open round stud and a 4L bar.

Petunia Pig

Her skirt is moulded plastic and she comes with a tea pot and cup accessory.

Elmer Fudd and Pepé LePew were not included in this series and honestly, Daffy Duck’s sign would have made a lot more sense if Elmer Fudd was present.

While it was a tad disappointing that certain characters were noticeably missing from the lineup, there is still hope for a second series or perhaps a set or two to tie in with the new Space Jam movie?

What do you all think? Yay or nay?
