There has been a rumour floating about that come November, we will see the largest LEGO set ever released and it was actually teased in the box art of the LEGO Creator Fiat 500 (10271) set earlier in February.
I actually got wind of the LEGO Creator Roman Colosseum (10276) late last year and we haven’t had a monument based Creator Expert set for some time. I believe the last one was the LEGO Taj Mahal (10256) re-release in 2017 so I figured that it was probably time for another one.
It is also rumoured to consist of 9,035pcs, making this the largest LEGO set ever produced which exceeds the bar set by the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) by about 1500 bricks.
As you can see from above, there is a painting of the Fiat 500 with the Colosseum in the background that was included in the LEGO Creator Fiat 500 set. Foreshadowing much?
Only time will tell if this ‘rumour’ actually comes true so take everything with a bucket of salt till TLG released the official statement.
