LEGO Minions Postponed?

I noticed that the premiere of Illumination’s Minions: The Rise of Gru movie has been postponed in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak and it seems like it has also affected the release date of three LEGO Minions sets.

If you do a quick search on the Shop@Home website, only the Brick-Built Minions and Their Lair (75551) and the Unstoppable Bike Chase (75549) sets are left in the inventory.

It is not known when the three missing sets will be released but the ones that are listed still display their 27th April launch date. However, it may change considering the current climate.

Our friends at Promobricks have also reported that retailers in Germany have been told about a change in release date but no fixed date has been set.

There are no changes at the moment for the LEGO Minions release here in Singapore although I have the feeling that it will follow whatever LEGO decides. We will have to wait and see so watch this space!
