A whopping twelve LEGO Ideas projects made the 10,000 vote cut for the third 2019 review selection last night.
Half of which are based on intellectual properties outside of LEGO usual repertoire which means this could open up for future sets to come.
Queen: I Want to Break Free by Han Sbricksteen
Seinfeld 30th Anniversary by BrentWaller
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Stables by Hanwasyellowfirst
Planet Express Delivery Ship by Nicola Stocchi & Gabriele Zannotti
Ratatouille: Open The Doors! by Brick Project
LEGO Typewriter by Steve Guinness
The Legend of the BIONICLE: Celebrating 20 years of Lego stories by Sokoda
Toronto Rocket Subway Train – Minifigure scale Electric Train by Legovader217
Home Alone. McCallister’s House by adwind
Clockwork Aquarium by mjsmiley
I think the LEGO Ideas team has a difficult choice to make as all of these are so good!
My picks would be the Seinfeld project as sets based on sitcoms have done well. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be my second pick as it is an intellectual property that is untapped at the moment.
And the Clockwork Aquarium for its ingenuity. What are your picks?
Seinfeld, Zelda, Futurama, Ratatouille and Home Alone all look like great representations of the properties they are based upon, -and Winter Chalet and Clockwork Aquarium are also great builds. 🙂
This’ll be a difficult choice; if not at least 2 of these make the cut, I’ll be very surprised!
I’m rooting for the Clockwork Aquarium. It is small enough to be affordable! Zelda is long overdue. It is about time LEGO did something with Nintendo.
Clockwork acquarium and Huascar would be my picks. cool working design of clockwork acquarium is fascinating for young kids.other models are equally impressive e.g. Lego typewriter and winter chalet…hard to make one choice.
Totally agree. The clockwork mechanism is a great way to expand on what LEGO could normally do to the younger kids.
Love the Home Alone house
and Seinfeld!
I’m going for Clockwork Aquarium and Zelda!
