LEGO Creator Expert Bookshop (10270) First Real World Look!

The announcement of the LEGO Creator Expert Bookshop (10270) was last night and we are now having our first real world look of the model, exclusively at Singapore Comic Con 2019!

The model stands at 25cm tall which is similar to the size of the LEGO Parisian Restaurant and it has a lot of new elements in it.

There are new yellow, dark orange and even olive leaf elements along with a new blue bird and the 1×1 arch and pyramid.

I know that this set is named “bookstore” but only one of five rooms is dedicated to that profession. The remaining rooms are essentially living quarters as the second building is a living space and there are only bookshelves on the ground floor.

Another bit that I wished they added more of would be the printed book cover. There is currently only one “book” in the entire set which is Moby Brick.

I think it would be be better if they had at least two more literary classics like “A Tale of Two Studs” or even “Once Upon a Brick” which incidentally was one of the sets the LEGO designer for the Bookshop worked on before.

The set can be pre-ordered now for SGD$249.90 and you will be able to pick it up on January 1st which is the official launch day. This would be the only way to secure your set before the launch date.

The Singapore Comic Con 2019 is on now till the 8th Dec 2019 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention centre.
