LEGO And Manchester United Sign Landmark Deal!

Football fans rejoice as Manchester United Football Club has just announced a deal with the LEGO Group to produce license products over the course of 2020.

There hasn’t been any information on what type of products LEGO will be producing for the football club but it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to think about perhaps a minifigure series on the red devils all stars or perhaps a model of Old Trafford?

Either way, this is really exciting news for football fans as there have been custom LEGO sets based on Old Trafford stadium as well as Manchester United minifigures.

After spending the year announcing partnership after partnership, Manchester United have lifted the lid on a partnership with LEGO, one of the world’s largest toymakers.

The partnership was noted in the club’s recently published Q1 results but not mentioned anywhere else.

“Our partnership with LEGO is a licensing agreement. More information on the partnership and some exciting new products will be released in the new year,” a spokesperson from the club told offthepitch.com.
