Toys ‘R’ Us Exclusive LEGO Bricktober 2019 Details!
I had posted previously about the Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive LEGO Bricktober sets being launched in Hong Kong on the 24th of September and thought that I would compile the redemption details of the known participating countries so far.
Right now we’ve information on Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. I’m confident that the Bricktober sets will be available in the other Asian regions in due time as each business unit is responsible for their own Bricktober campaign.
Hong Kong
Minimum spend of HKD480 (SGD$84.51 / USD$61.23) on any LEGO products.
Redemption schedule:
- Sept 24th to 30th – Spring
- Oct 1st to 7th – Summer
- Oct 8th to 21st – Autumn
- Oct 22nd to 28th – Winter
Singapore
Minimum spend of SGD$65 (USD$47.10) on any LEGO products.
Redemption schedule:
- Sept 27th to Oct 3rd – Spring
- Oct 4th to 10th – Summer
- Oct 11th to 17th – Autumn
- Oct 18th to 27th – Winter
Malaysia
Minimum spend of RM199 (SGD$65.49 / USD$47.45) on any LEGO playsets (no lifestyle items).
Redemption schedule:
- Sept 27th to Oct 3rd – Spring
- Oct 4th to 10th – Summer
- Oct 11th to 17th – Autumn
- Oct 18th to 27th – Winter
Thailand
Minimum spend of THB2500 (SGD$112.75 / USD$81.67) on any LEGO products.
Redemption schedule:
- Oct 3rd to Oct 9th – Spring
- Oct 10th to 16th – Summer
- Oct 17th to 23rd – Autumn
- Oct 24th to 31st – Winter
Taiwan
Minimum spend of 1800NT (SGD$79.70 / USD$57.98) on any LEGO products.
Redemption schedule:
- Sept 27th to Oct 3rd – Spring
- Oct 4th to 10th – Summer
- Oct 11th to 17th – Autumn
- Oct 18th to 24th – Winter
Philippines
Minimum spend of P2,499.75 (SGD$66.18 / USD$47.91) on any LEGO products.
Redemption schedule:
- Oct 1st to Oct 6th – Spring
- Oct 7th to 20th – Summer
- Oct 21th to 27th – Autumn
- Oct 28th to 31st – Winter
As you can tell, the cheaper countries to redeem your Bricktober sets would be Singapore and Malaysia. Hong Kong is a little on the high side but Thailand is the most expensive.
Our friend over at VJ gamer managed to get their hands on the sets in advance and here are some of the box art!
The packaging is pretty cool although I’m a little bummed that it the 2×2 tile is actually a sticker.
