LEGO Stranger Things Teased in “1985” LEGO Commercial!

Just this morning, LEGO Facebook page posted a quaint LEGO ‘commercial’ supposedly from 1985  which incidentally is the same time period in which the hit Netflix series Stranger Things is set (Season 3 is actually set in 1985).

There is something odd about choice of cars featured in the commercial as they are not the classic police car but an SUV and a coupe that looks more at home in the Speed Champions series.

The SUV is suspiciously decked out in the same colour scheme as Chief Jim Hopper’s 1980 Chevrolet K5 Blazer from the series and even has the similar decals on the side.

Considering that the mysterious midnight launch on the 15th of May is just around the corner, this trailer is just stoking the hype. There are already leaked images of the set floating around the interwebs which kind of diminishes the surprise but it is still fun to spot the clues when LEGO releases them.
