Review: LEGO® City 4D Movie – Officer in Pursuit!

There is a brand new 4D movie that will be rolling out to the LEGOLAND parks across the globe and it is the LEGO City 4D – Officer in Pursuit!

It features our plucky LEGO City Policeman hot on the tails of the city’s most notorious crook that brings us through the bustling streets of this brick metropolis.

This preview hosted by LEGOLAND Malaysia is actually the first time anywhere in the world to experience this new 4D extravaganza. It will be available in the other parks when they re-open from winter break.

The animated movie is approximately 15 minutes long and it jammed packed with physical effects like sprays of water and high winds that occur in the theatre in sync with the film.

What I liked about the movie is that they used actual LEGO sets in the film as vehicles like cars from the LEGO City High Speed Chase (60138). There are also a host of familiar characters that you will meet along the way.

The movie is definitely geared at kids but there are some genuine laughs peppered throughout the film. Just a side note: if you happen to have a poncho from one of the other LEGOLAND rides, you might want to keep it on as there is a LOT of water effects in this film.
