LEGO Vestas Wind Turbine (4999) Possible Re-release!

There are some rumours swirling around a possible re-release of the LEGO Vestas Wind Turbine (4999) some time later this year.

It most likely will be released under the LEGO Creator Expert line and sources indicated that it is to commemorate the launch of the “plant from plants” elements.

We had the awesome gift with purchase “Plants from Plants” pack last month and the wind turbine will be an appropriate set to release these elements officially.

There is no word on whether it will be a completely redesigned set or just a direct re-issue like the other LEGO Creator Expert sets like the Taj Mahal (10256). Either way, it should still retain the power functions compatibility.
