It is only days away from the start of the San Diego Comic Con 2018 and LEGO Facebook has released some set images to the LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

Attendees to the greatest geek convention on the planet will be able to see these in person as they will be officially revealed during the event.


Emmet & Lucy’s Escape Buggy (70829) – USD$49.99

Minifigures: Emmet, Wyldstyle, Sharkia and Metalbeard

Escape Buggy

  • Includes 3 LEGO MOVIE characters: LEGO Emmet minfigure, Lucy minfigure and Sharkia minifigure, plus 3 brick-built figures: MetalBeard, Star and Heart.

There seems to be some new elements introduced in this set with the star and heart elements.

It would seem that the Duplo monsters will actually be brick built and not actually utilise any Duplo bricks.

This would be the first time that a mini-doll is included in a system set as previously these were only relegated to the LEGO Friends and LEGO Elves lines.


The sets do seem inspired from the movie Mad Max but I’m absolutely not complaining. The Escape Buggy looks like an awesome tribute to the Gigahorse from Fury Road.

The sets will range from  USD$29.99 to USD$69.99 and will be launch on January 14th 2019.
