LEGO Overwatch Sets Are Coming!

The Licensing Expo 2018 is in full swing and the juiciest piece of news to come out of it so far is that Activision Blizzard will be collaborating with LEGO to release LEGO Overwatch sets!

It hasn’t be determined what ‘type’ of sets we will be getting, either playsets, buildable figures, Brickheadz or a combination of all three.

“Additionally, LEGO® Group has plans for multiple Overwatch building sets across various price points”

I’m a huge fan of Overwatch and can’t wait to get my hands on these as I think the characters would make for some really cool minifigures. (I’ll be over the moon if we could get a collectible minifigure series on Overwatch).

This would be one the first time we will be seeing actual sets being developed for a game property (we had the portal minifigure for LEGO Dimensions) outside of their repertoire. Blizzard usually works with Megabloks for their license brick sets so this is a real surprise (pleasant) for me.
