LEGO Renault Sport Formula One Team Sales Event

The LEGO Renault Sport Formula One Team launch event finally took place over the weekend of December 16th after the delay due to the unfortunate passing of singer Johnny Hallyday.

There was a huge turnout for the exclusive LEGO Certified Professional designed sets which were produced in very limited numbers.

There are three different sets to purchase where one is so limited that it requires you to ballot for a chance to buy one.

There were also multiple activities at the event for kids along with a life size replica of the actual R.S.17!

What was pretty cool is that participants were able to build a micro version of the actual F1 car.

And on top of all these wonderful collectibles, there was also a minifigure packet containing minifigure version of driver Niko Hulkenberg.

One side note is that I’ve been getting a lot of queries regarding the authenticity of these sets and minifigures. They are designed by LEGO Certified Professionals which you can clearly see their logo being emblazoned on the packaging.
