LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) Official Announcement

After years of speculating and months of navigating the leaks, I am really happy (and relieved) to be able to share with you the very first official images to the highly anticipated LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Series Millennium Falcon (75192)!

This year is the 40th anniversary of Star Wars as well as the 10th anniversary of the release of the original UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) and this 7541 piece behemoth of a set its the perfect way to celebrate both milestones.

The dimensions of this new and improved model is almost identical as its predecessor, it packs more than 2000 more pieces into its build. 

It features seven minifigures in all, four from the classic triology: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO and three from Episode VII/VIII: Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn.

There will also be the BB-8 droid, 2 buildable Porgs and a buildable Mynock.

So it seems like all the speculation was correct in the fact that there will be inter-changeable radar dishes for both the original trilogy and the Force Awakens version.

There is also a proper interior for the Falcon (I called it!) which features the classic Dejarik holographic table, the engine room, gunnery stations and a whole lot more that was not in the original 10179 model.

So in case you’re wondering where those 2000 extra pieces went to, it is all going to recreate the iconic scenes of the Falcon from both the original trilogy as well as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

The set will have a recommended retail price of SGD$1209.90 / US $799.99 / CA $899.99 / DE 799.99€ / UK £649.99 / DK 6999.00 DKK which makes Canada the cheapest by far.

It will be on sale at all LEGO Certified and Brand Store on October 1st and September 14th for VIP members (LEGO Brand Stores only)
