Amazon Prime Now Mobile App launches in Singapore

The much anticipated Amazon Prime Now mobile application is finally available on the Singapore iTunes store and it is poised to radically alter the LEGO landscape here.

LEGO is available on the app and there is free delivery at a minimum SGD$40 spent which easily achieved when buying our favourite plastic brick.

From what I gather of the Amazon Prime app, you will receive a SGD$20 off your first purchase if you use VISA ( or you can input this code “10primenow”). There is free delivery and they stock the latest range of LEGO sets as well.

I spotted the LEGO Batman Movie Batcave Break-In (70909) set selling on the app for $139.90 which is a cool 30% cheaper than the Recommended Retail Price of $199.90. And if you use the SGD$20 voucher it becomes SGD$119.90 (USD$87.50).

With free delivery + store wide discounts, this will be a very attractive alternative to the physical LEGO shops here.

Only time will tell how this will play out.
