LEGO Ninjago Movie Extended Line Product Guide

There have been quite a bit of LEGO Ninjago Movie extended line product news over the past few days and I thought to compile what I’ve come across into one nifty post.

The extended line for any theme refers to anything that isn’t a LEGO themed ‘playset’ so keychains, LED lights, and even those seasonal sets fall under this category.

Naturally with the hype surrounding The LEGO Ninjago Movie, the merchandising machine is not going to let this go quietly in the night so here is the onslaught of theme products that you can look forward to.

LEGO Ninjago Movie Maker

This looks to be exactly like the LEGO Batman Movie Maker that I chanced upon at my local LEGO Certified Store back when the movie came out. It comes with one Cole minifigure with the psychedelic hair.

It has the same set up as the previous one with the mobile phone stand and the printed cardboard backdrop.

LEGO Ninjago Movie Maker Polybag

There is also a mini-movie maker that is more of a ‘lite’ version of the one above. It contains one minifigure and some accessories with paper cutout explosions.

LEGO Ninjago Movie Master Wu Keychain Polybag

The LEGO Batman Movie had the same keychain polybag with the Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman. I wonder if this version of Master Wu is sporting an exclusive minifigure design.

Play and Display Case

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Minifigures are getting a nifty display case that should be good to hold the entire set of LEGO Ninjago Movie Collectible Minifigure Series.

Have fun with and show off your LEGO NINJAGO creations with this new two-level play and display box. The display case comes with 6 original grey LEGO baseplates and two backdrop scenes that sets the tone for your play situation. When done playing, put your creations on display on one of the two levels. The transparent case cover will let your LEGO NINJAGO creations take centre stage, while protecting them from dust and nosy siblings.

Minifigure Display Case

This is the same one that was released for the LEGO Batman Movie except that there was a 16 minifigure slot option which made little sense since the full set of LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigure series had 20 minifigures.

Put your LEGO ninjago minifigures on display while storing them safely in this LEGO minifigure display case with space for 8 minifigures. Place the minifigures on the LEGO plates and close the transparant doors for safe storage. The display cases can be stacked into a costumed storage/sorting system. These storage bricks have been available for quite a while now but this would be the first time that it is released in the sand green colour (I could be wrong).
