LEGO Dimensions Wave 9 – Beetlejuice, Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans GO!
LEGO Dimensions Wave Nine has officially been announced with these official images of The Powerpuff Girls, Beetlejuice, Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire from Teen Titans Go!
It will be a combination of Team Packs and Fun packs that will only be available on September 12th but I’m sure pre-orders will start soon.
The Powerpuff Girls
A bit disappointed that the Powerpuff Girls are split into two expansion packs but it was expected. The first Team Pack includes Blossom and Bubbles with a brick built Octi and a Powerpuff Girl Smart Phone.
The Powerpuff Girls Team Pack (71346)
They are all sporting new head moulds like the Disney and Simpsons Minifigures.
The Powerpuff Girls Team Pack will get Blossom and Bubbles minifigures, as well as a 3-in-1 Octi that can be reconstructed into the Super Skunk or Sonic Squid. The pack also includes the PPG Smartphone, which can be rebuilt into the PPG Hotline and Powerpuff Mag-Net.
Buttercup was relegated to the Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack (71343) by herself but she comes with a brick built mega-blast bot which can transform into a forklift and T-plane.
LEGO Dimensions Expansion Pack – Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack(71343)
The Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack includes the Buttercup minifigure and a 3-in-1 Mega Blast Bot, which can be reassembled into the Ka-Pow Cannon and Slammin’ Guitar. Additionally, the Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup minifigures grant access to The Powerpuff Girls Adventure World, which features a number of places to explore, including Rainbow Land and Professor Utonium’s lab.
Teen Titans GO!
We get three minifigures from the DC inspired cartoon “Teen Titans GO!” with Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire. While there are already versions of Starfire and Beast Boy from Jokerland (76035), this will be the first incarnation of Raven.
LEGO Dimensions ExpansionPack – Teen Titans Go! Team Pack
The Teen Titans Go! Team Pack includes minifigures of Raven and Beast Boy, as well as a 3-in-1 T-Car, which can be reassembled into the Forklift and T-Plane.
The Fun Pack comes with a Starfire minifigure, as well as the 3-in-1 Titan Robot that can be reconstructed into a T-Rocket or Robot Retriever.
Beetlejuice
This would be one that I’m most looking forward to as I love the movie when I was a kid (I still am sometimes). Beetlejuice looks to be getting a brand new lime hairpiece.
The Fun Pack also comes with the Saturn’s Sandwort which was this sand snake that terrorises the people of the world it inhabits.
The Beetlejuice Fun Pack includes a Beetlejuice minifigure, which grants access to an exclusive Adventure World and Battle Area. The pack also includes Saturn’s Sandwort, which can be reconstructed into the Haunted Vacuum and Spooky Spider.
I’m definitely going to plonk down hard cash for the Powerpuff Girls expansion packs as well as Beetlejuice. I don’t mind getting the Teen Titan’s Go! expansion pack with Raven but I have the feeling that she will pop up in a set somewhere.
