LEGO Creator Expert Carousel (10257) Official Images

We caught a sneak peek at the LEGO Creator Expert Carousel (10257) a little earlier this week and now LEGO has officially announced it with a whole bunch of official images.

The new carousel consists of 2,670 pcs which is approximately 500pcs less than its predecessor, The Grand Carousel (10196).

It comes with seven minifigures and features five brick built animals like the Tiger, Flamingo, Elephant, Frog and Swan as the carousel rides.

Just like the Grand Carousel, the new incarnation is designed to rotate and the rides will move up and down when you turn the crank.

It is compatible with LEGO power functions (which is not included) although it it known to make a lot of noise.

It does sport a textile canopy as well as some new printed tiles like the 1 x 2 ticket tile and the 2 x 2 storybook tile.

The prices for the different regions are SGD$329.90 / US $199.99 / CA $249.99 / DE 179.99€ / UK £159.99 / DK 1499.00 DKK which should translate to a recommended retail price (RRP) of SGD$349.90 when it comes to Singapore.
