LEGO Star Wars Detention Block Celebration Exclusive Set Revealed
Star Wars Celebration in Orlando Florida is just a week away and they have finally revealed that we will be getting the LEGO Star Wars Detention Block set as the event exclusive.
The 220pc set depicts the scene in “A New Hope” where Luke and Han are in the detention cell area trying to rescue Princess Leia. It comes with two minifigures of Luke and Han in Stormtrooper outfits and for some reason, Chewbacca is missing from the scene.
Now here is the tricky part, in order to get your hands on one of these you have to enter an online raffle that closes on 12:01AM EST on Thursday, April 6th. If you are one of the randomly selected winners, you can head to the LEGO Booth (#2630) and purchase this set for USD$40. The lucky LEGO fans will be informed by Friday, April 7th.
No doubt that this set will hit the eBay listings faster than the Millennium Falcon made the Kessel run so if you really need to get your hands on it and are unable to attend the event, that would be your best bet.
It looks like Han Solo is sporting a new hair piece and after taking a better look at the set, it doesn’t look like it would be too hard to Bricklink the parts to make your own.
