LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean D2C Set For March Release

There were rumours last year of a LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean D2C set that was coming out in conjuncture with the new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales movie that is coming out summer 2017.

It has been revealed in the Shanghai LEGO Brand Store calendar for March that there will indeed be a LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean D2c (71042) set coming out in March 20th for VIP members and April 1st for the rest of the public.

From the image it does look like it is a ship of some sort, either the Silent Mary (Captain Salazar) or the Dying Gull (Captain Barbossa), that seems to be attacked by some sea monster.

There have been no concrete details on pricing yet but I would expect this to be a SGD$399 /USD$250 set.

I’m still hoping for the Flying Dutchman from the 3rd POTC movie but the chances are it’s not going to happen any time soon.
