LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Official Images Revealed
There was a photo of a Chinese LEGO Brand Catalogue which featured the LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 sets floating around and now thanks to Amazon.de we finally have the first official images!
It gives us a much clearer look at the some of the new minifigures that will be introduced in this wave like Mantis, Yondu and of course, Baby Groot!
76079 Ravager Attack (€ 24.99)
Minifigures: Taserface, Mantis and Rocket Raccoon
76080 Ayesha’s Revenge (€ 34.99)
Minifigures: Ayesha, Yondu, Star-Lord and Baby Groot
76081 Milano vs the Abilisk (€ 49.99)
Minifigures: Nebula, Gamora, Drax, Star-Lord and Baby Groot
The Baby Groot figure seems to be a completely new mould which does not borrow anything from the Baby-figure from the Fun in the Park (60134) set or the Babysitter minifigure from CMF 16.
His hands are closed off so it would seem like he is something that would clip into a regular minifigure hands but it is also nice to see that Baby Groot appears in two sets!
The sets will be available in May 2017, just in time for the movie’s launch.

It looks like baby groot is holding the clip part of that 1×1 tile in the artwork so yes.
Is Drax different from the vol1 version?
Drax does seem to be different as the leg element is different but the torso does look the same.
