LEGO Volkswagen Mini-Beetle (40252) Redemption Details

There as been a lot of speculation on the availability of the LEGO Volkswagen Mini-Beetle and how to get it.

So I thought it would be good to start a list that compile the known redemption details from around the globe. Here they are in no particular order:

United Kingdom / Europe

LCC Builders is reporting that Europe will be getting the LEGO Volkswagen Mini-Beetle (40252) as well.

There have been two conflicting reports on the redemption details for this region. The above advertisement loosely translates to “Purchase a product of LEGO Creator Expert to get a mini model of the LEGO VW Beetle”.

This would lead one to understand that any LEGO Creator Expert set should net you a Mini-Beetle.

However, some sources in the United Kingdom have said that the Mini-Beetle can only be redeemed with a purchase of the Assembly Square (10255) modular. I would suggest to check with your local LEGO Brand Store for further clarification on this.

Hong Kong Lego Certified Store

The first LEGO Certified Store in Hong Kong is offering the VolkswagenMini-Beetle for a minimum spend of HKD2,800 which is about SGD520 / USD360 in a single receipt.

The offer is on from the 2nd of Jan to the 31st of January 2017 while stocks last so grab it now if you are in Hong Kong.

Legoland Florida

This was actually the first place to offer a redemption for the LEGO Mini-Volkswagen Beetle (40252) set.

Just like the offer for Europe, you would get one for every purchase of the LEGO Creator Expert Assembly Square (10255).

There were no redemption dates offered but I would assume that it will be while stocks last till the 31st of Jan 2017.

It would seem that the redemption of the Mini-Beetle is pegged to the purchase of the Assembly Square so I would expect a similar promotion if the offer does reach our shores.
