LEGO Seasonal Valentine’s Day (40236) Discovered

With 2017 just a mere couple of weeks away, we are finally able to feast our eyes on the first images for the LEGO Seasonal Valentine’s Day (40236) set!

This set is actually on sale in a LEGO Brand Store in Cologne, Germany and an AFOL, who would like to be known as S.D., kindly sent us these awesome photos for the Seasonal Valentine’s Day set.

It shows a traditional picnic scene with the tree in the background with a little fountain nearby.

I’m actually quite impressed by the amount of detail that is packed within this set with the bird perched on the branch and a tiny bird house on the trunk.

There is a fair bit of accessories with the printed tiles (the chocolate bar, love letter and cookies) to the wine glasses and bottle to even a pineapple (not sure why that is there but I’m sure there is a story behind it).

There is even a teddy bear accessory along with a nice potted plant with the 6-prong stem. It comes with two minifigures which seems to be the standard for these sets.

It is retailing for €9,99 which translates to about SGD$15 / USD$10. I would expect this to be ultra popular when it is officially released in the other regions around the world.

I’m a huge fan of the previous Seasonal vignette series and I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these to review! I love the fact that the grassy area actually forms a heart when you see it from above.
